DUTIES
Providing clerical assistance during the process of ordering products and services
Records of product orders placed by consumers. assemble the compliance report and the procurement plans. communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
to generate orders for the purchase of products and services, input data into LOGIS, track down unfulfilled orders, and create general reports about order transactions. knowledge of the BAS system and upkeep of the supplier database. Support the process of receiving and distributing stock as well as stock control; check received goods from suppliers; identify and record damaged or incorrect items; communicate with the supplier to return damaged or incorrect items; capture goods on pertinent registers; ensure the safekeeping of goods; manage paperwork for distribution of goods; and capture supplier invoices.
Provide administrative support for travel and transportation services, make bookings through a travel agent, record travel and lodging arrangements, keep track of pertinent transport forms and registers, organize the submission of travel and subsistence claims for approval, and update all compliant invoices. Provide general administrative support services. Maintain accurate records, assist with the planning of meetings, and record requests for office space.
Requirements
Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply chain management, or a Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in business administration with a minimum of 0–1 year of experience in supply chain management Knowledge: Proven proficiency with computers (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations). Treasury Regulations, PFMA, PSR, and PSA, as well as SCM Prescriptions. systems like BAS and LOGIS that are connected. Basic computer literacy, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, organizational and communication skills, and time management are among the talents required.
