Requirements

National Senior Certificate, a B Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Social Science or Development Studies, or any other pertinent equivalent qualification. In addition, you should have at least 3 years of relevant expertise in the field of special programs at a salary of 7 or 8. Having supervisory experience will be helpful. The following abilities and qualities are necessary: Decision-making, Diversity Citizenship, Organizational Communication Effectiveness, Problem Analysis, Self-Management, Computer Literacy, Team Membership, and Technical Proficiency are among the competencies that fall under this category. A current driving license (NB this does not apply to persons with disabilities).

Duties

Contribute ideas to the creation of SPU policies and guidelines. Ensure networking and lobbying on behalf of designated groups. Coordination and delivery of reports on regional program performance relative to SPU targets, which will include: Provide and facilitate capacity building programs, carry out departmental program education and awareness campaigns, and carry out administrative and associated tasks.
