A Salary of R104 073 per year will be paid for a Service aid job while The porters will get a Salary of R104 073 per Year. REQUIREMENT
Basic literacy and numeracy abilities are a must. Experience: Sufficient prior work in a large-scale food service setting Ability to perform physical chores and use powerful cooking and cleaning tools are inherent job needs. Excellent health – able to handle cleaning products, perform high-dusting tasks, and lift heavy supplies and equipment. having the capacity to spend 12 hours a day standing. Possessing the capacity to work shifts during the day, on the weekend, and on public holidays. Competencies: knowledge and abilities the capacity to effectively communicate (read and write) in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages. the capacity to operate industrial equipment safely and correctly, as well as cook meals using established recipes. basic understanding of the safety and hygiene rules in the food industry. conflict resolution.
DUTIES
Perform all duties arising from the creation of full and therapeutic diets, including pre-preparation. carry out all duties related to distributing and serving food to patients in various wards. Maintaining safety and hygiene requirements while cleaning and maintaining all locations, objects, and machinery in the food service unit. aid in the receipt, secure holding, and distribution of food supplies and other goods. Assist in providing new hires with informal in-service training.

Work schedule flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and holidays, is a requirement of the position. the capacity to carry out activities like moving patients into or off of beds, carts, and wheelchairs, as well as into and out of vehicles. capable of handling corpses or bodies. ready to work in any ward or department of the hospital. willingness to fill in for colleagues who are away. Competencies: The capacity to converse in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages.
DUTIES FOR PORTERS
Assist and accompany walking, sitting, non-walking or disabled patients and transport patients per wheelchair or trolley from reception to the wards or from the wards to the treatment sections, and in and out of ambulances. Deliver and collect medical and other documentation (patient files, reports, etc) to or from wards or treatment areas. Check and replace oxygen cylinders inwards or treatment areas and assist with the shifting of medical equipment and report any defects. Assist with the drawing and filing of patient folders
