DUTIES
In collaboration with artisans and associates, manage technical support and services in the technical office and workshop. Make ensuring that safety is promoted in accordance with legal and regulatory standards. Check for technical issues with equipment and/or facilities (CHC and its clinics). Maintain facilities and equipment to standards.
Maintain facilities and/or equipment as scheduled. carrying out administrative and related tasks. Effectively and efficiently manage your human resources while fostering healthy working relationships. Mentor and oversee personnel. administration of all resources assigned to the Maintenance department. Control EPMDS. Regarding electrical concerns, offer knowledgeable counsel and suggestions.
To achieve effective cash flow management, control and monitor spending in accordance with the available budget. Assist all trades within the institution with technical and specialized engineering support, guaranteeing Occupational Health and Safety Act compliance. As needed, participate in CHC Committees.
REQUIREMENTS
A 12th-grade senior certificate or a degree of equal standing is preferred. N3 or equivalent maintenance trades certificate. according to the Manpower Act of 1981, as modified, Section 13(2)(h), an appropriate trade test certificate in electricity. 5 or more years of relevant experience after earning an Artisan degree. valid driver’s license with Code 8. Knowledge, Competencies, and Capabilities: a solid understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Treasury Regulation and Practice Notes Good interpersonal, negotiation, planning, and communication abilities. Technical expertise, trade experience, and practical knowledge. excellent understanding of hospital equipment, pumps, and air conditioners. sound problem-solving abilities and OHS Act-compliant safe working practices. Computer literacy is required: Microsoft Office software suite.
