Our Cape Town Local Stores offer this wonderful possibility. In order to help with management and oversight of the shop to which he is appointed, we are looking for a Local Grocery Floor Manager. In order to accomplish the goal of the Pick n Pay Local Format, this role involves assisting with the planning, organizing, leading, inspiring, and managing the activities of the shop team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide client service that goes above and beyond what is expected. Implement and keep up the KPAs and KPIs that indicate the performance of the Local 7 Wonders in accordance with Local’s tramlines. All KPAs and KPIs should be tracked and measured. Recognize non-conformance and create an immediate action plan to address it. Once the non-conformance has been satisfactorily addressed, put the plan into action and track your progress. Inform all pertinent parties as necessary.
Make sure the 5’s are followed and kept up. Create a daily routine that is managed and driven by all levels of your team by implementing and maintaining the SOPS for the local stores. Promote on-the-job training to make sure that employees are knowledgeable and in line with what Local requires in terms of delivering a high-quality product and service that goes above and beyond what customers expect. Implement and uphold the necessary compliance standard uniformly throughout all stores.
Implement and uphold the regional display and merchandising standards in accordance with the regional plan o gram that is distributed to all the staff in charge of overseeing these standards. This involves making sure that each item is tagged and priced accurately. Make ensuring that inventories are kept at reasonable levels and kept to a minimum within the designated Local tramlines.
actively endeavor to foster a feeling of unity among the team and make sure that the local goals are accomplished collectively. Pull the following crucial reports published by the Support and regional office, examine them, and take the appropriate action, as directed: Promote sales by using aggressive product displays that highlight EDLP and all promoted lines.
Additional Information
Long and flexible hours will occasionally be needed for the job. The aforementioned requirements will be evaluated via competency-based interviews. Candidates that make the short list might go through pertinent evaluations.
