ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS: SUPPORT SERVICES (X3 POSTS)

REQUIREMENTS

Senior Certificate is the minimum educational requirement (or equivalent). Appropriate administrative experience in a health facility is required. The work requires a valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license and a willingness to travel. Willingness to work extra hours. Competencies (skills/knowledge): Clinicom/PHCIS knowledge is extensive. Knowledge and experience with the Basic Accounting System (BAS)/LOGIS or any other computerized accounting and logistics system, as well as budgeting issues. Knowledge of supply chain management, the department’s procurement policy, and personnel procedures. Good communication skills in at least two of the Western Cape’s three official languages. Improve your computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

DUTIES

In terms of HRM, Supply Chain Management (LOGIS), Finance, Labor Relations, and general office administration, the Facility Manager as Head of Administration receives comprehensive support and guidance. Interact and communicate with clinical and operational managers about administrative support. Assist with contract administration, such as security, phone systems, gardening, and waste technologies.
Admin/Assistant, Housekeeper and Cleaning Staff Supervisor, LOGIS Clerk, Information Management Work with the workshop on maintenance, facility reports, and grounds. Manage the budgeted funds, as well as spending, administration, and revenue management.

Before being appointed to this position, the suggested applicant must finish the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme. The Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme, which is a public service specific training program applicable to all applicants who desire to join the SMS, is designed to ensure that aspiring SMS members have a solid understanding of the SMS’s processes and procedures.
