REQUIREMENTS
Basic reading and writing abilities are required. Experience: Appropriate experience as a cleaner in a medical setting and waste management experience The job’s inherent criteria are: Ability to perform manual duties as well as operate heavy-duty cleaning and household equipment Excellent physical condition—able to work with cleaning supplies and lift equipment. Provide a shift service on weekends and holidays, as well as day and night duty as needed. Depending on operational demands and requirements, rotate between various departments. Competencies (skills/knowledge): Routine cleaning processes, Terminal Cleaning, and cleaning equipment handling are all skills required. DUTIES
Cleaning responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing, as well as comprehensive toilet cleaning, garbage disposal, and general neatness and hygiene in the area. Execute terminal cleaning effectively in isolated regions, such as ICUs, and other areas. Assist the supervisor with general housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning and home equipment control, linen care and control, patient meal serving, and waste management. After each use, make sure to clean the cleaning equipment and store it safely. Cleaning agents and stock, as well as basic stock control, should be used effectively. Attend relevant in-service training.
