What you will do
Briefs for the Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX) should be written and aligned with key stakeholders. Lead briefings for Consumer and Shopper content at agencies, and come up with new ways to measure the performance of brand campaigns. Assist internal teams and external agency partners in adhering to the Integrated Marketing Experience process’s guidelines: (and, when needed, the evolution of) the strategy; find opportunities to incorporate consumer research and data into the process.
Aid in the development of measurement strategies for campaign evaluation and optimization; establish a collaborative culture that constantly challenges and expands the brand team’s collective thinking.
Collaborate actively with the brand/category team to ensure that global/regional direction is translated to the Africa Operating Unit (if applicable) and that the strategy is relevant to consumers.
Positions the brand for future growth and, as a result, might inspire unique marketing communications.
Education and Experience Requirement
A bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
Working in a strategic marketing position for at least 5-7 years is required.
Working at or with world-class creative firms is a plus, as is a track record of generating large (preferably award-winning) creative ideas.
Knowledge Requirement of Major Importance
Communication skills, both written and vocal, are exceptional.
Complex ideas must be expressed in a clear and appealing manner.
Collaborate and come to an agreement.
Convert consumer and cultural research/data, company objectives, and multiple viewpoints into a meaningful marketing strategy.
Participate in and shape consumer research
