REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVERS

tenth grade A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of driving/messengering experience is required.
PDP and a valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s license. (Include a certified copy.) Ability to work as part of a team independently. Willingness to work and travel on a sporadic basis.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Infection Control Guidelines. Other Qualifications / Requirements: Communication skills, both written and vocal.

DUTIES FOR DRIVERS

Within the District, equipment, patients, and officials are transported. They place orders for pharmaceuticals, collect them, and distribute them when needed. Take your vehicle to be serviced or repaired. Keep track of your oil, gasoline receipts, and other administrative paperwork. Assist with cargo loading and unloading. At the post office, collect and deliver mail and parcels on a daily basis. Maintaining the cars to ensure that they are clean and in good working order.

REQUIREMENTS FOR STORES ASSISTANT

Grade 12 certificate, 1 – 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management as a Warehouse/Stores Assistant. Driver’s license (Code B).Computer literate, ability to work under pressure, and good interpersonal skills. Other Skills / Requirements: Post matric qualification in BCOM or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics/ Business Management and/or relevant qualification will be an added advantage. Problem-solving skills, creativity, and analytical skills. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Teamwork, Organizing, Coordination, and time management.

DUTIES FOR STORES ASSISTANT

Assist Tshwane District Health Services with supply chain management administrative support as follows: Demand and Acquisition Management: End-user requirements are recorded, and demand and procurement strategies are confirmed. Support the products and/or service RFQ administration process, create shopping carts for purchase orders, and track delivery and payments. Receiving, inspecting, recording, and storing incoming merchandise are all part of warehouse management.

Order picking, packing, and fulfillment. Stock collection and distribution. General warehouse responsibilities Asset Management: Ensure that all records on the asset register are kept up to date. All newly acquired assets should be barcoded. Conduct quarterly/annual asset verifications to confirm that the asset’s condition in the register corresponds to its actual condition. Disposal management administration. Other responsibilities include maintaining and updating registrations. Compile statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Answer questions from both the outside and the inside. Within the SCM environment, assist with normal office chores.
