Department of health in Helen Joseph Hospital in the directorate of support service is looking for26 cleaners. The salary package for this position is R 102 534.00 Plus 37% in Lieu of Service Benefits.

Minimum Requirements

ABET / Grade 10 with authentic School report or Grade 12, with 0 to 2 years’ experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write. Ability to work under pressure and ability to perform routine tasks.

Duties Includes

Perform all cleaning services of routine nature with the utilisation of various aids including cleaning floors, lift and stairs, washing windows, mirrors, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, cleaning wards according to covid-19 guidelines. Management of waste and collection of healthcare risk waste consumables, offices and non-clinical areas within the hospital. The removal of general and medical waste in designated areas within the hospital. Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and night duty. Perform any other cleaning activities as directed by the team leader/supervisor.
