BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER (SQL)

The Business Intelligence Developer will administer all forms of data flow through the stages of extraction, transformation and loading into the KFC Africa data warehouse. Building new data structures, load programs, meta data layers (includes multi-dimensional cubes) and reports that meet KFC Africa Business Intelligence needs. Working closely with the Business Intelligence Architect to evolve the KFC Africa business intelligence architecture.

Required Experience:

• Enhance, upgrade and modify existing dashboards, reports and presentations to meet business needs
• Enhance and implement extract, transform and load best practices and architecture changes
• Enhance and implement data warehouse best practices and architecture changes
• Enhance and implement meta data and cube best practices and architecture changes
• Mature and evolve data /information management and constantly validate integrity, completeness and effectiveness of KFC Africa’s warehouse
• Manage Business Intelligence Technology projects and drive innovation within the Business Intelligence department

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or similar

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 – 7 years experience working on the MicroStrategy business intelligence product set
• Minimum 4 years experience in a Business Intelligence developer role
• Minimum 4 years experience with Business Intelligence mobile technologies
• Minimum 4 years experience with:
  • 1) Database programming;
  • 2) Data warehousing technologies,
  • 3) ETL (extract, transform and load) technologies;
  • 4) Microsoft Analysis Services;
  • 5) Microsoft Integration Services;
  • 6) Microsoft SQL Server and
  • 7) Multi-dimensional modelling and cubes
